The Morel Maximo 6 Mk 2 6.5-inch coaxial speakers are designed to deliver powerful, detailed car audio performance with easy installation. This Maximo Series coaxial speaker system features an 80W power handling rating, 160W maximum output, a treated paper composite cone, high-grade ferrite magnets, a soft dome tweeter, and an MXR direct crossover. Maximo Coax Tweeter

The foundation of the Maximo tweeter is rooted in the same design principles as Morel’s high-end tweeters. Each coaxial tweeter uses a proprietary-coated soft textile dome and a powerful neodymium magnet motor. This design suppresses distortion, optimizes power handling and off-axis performance, and delivers the “sweet and warm” sound signature Morel is known for.

The shape of the soft dome and its proprietary coating optimize the tweeter’s off-axis performance while minimizing distortion, increasing power handling, and improving tonal balance and dynamic response.
