Aozoom AZ1506 + FLP-4090 —
Complete Headlight & Fog Upgrade
Two Aozoom products. Two different jobs. Total night visibility transformation. The AZ1506 Black Edition upgrades your headlamp bulbs to 150W / 11,000LM high-penetration white light. The FLP-4090 replaces your fog lamp with a dual-laser 3-inch projector with lo/hi beam and dual-colour switching. Together — ₹27,989.
Most car lighting upgrades are partial. You change your headlamp bulbs and the fog lights are still factory halogen — dim, scattered, and useless in actual fog. Or you upgrade your fog light and your headlamps are still producing the same disappointing cone of yellow-white they always have. The Aozoom AZ1506 and FLP-4090 address both simultaneously — a matched pair of Aozoom upgrades that transform every forward-facing light on your car in one go.
The AZ1506 Black Edition drops into your existing headlight housing and replaces your factory halogen bulb with 150W of high-penetration 6000K LED — 11,000 lumens total, with a concentrated hotspot matrix engineered for long-distance road throw rather than just close-range brightness. The FLP-4090 replaces your factory fog lamp with a proper 3-inch dual-laser projector — 90W lo beam, 140W hi beam, sharp projector cut-off, and a dual-laser module for extreme foglight reach. Available in White (5700K) or White-Yellow (5700K + 3000K switchable).
This blog covers both products in depth — specs, technology, what each one actually does to your night vision, how they complement each other, installation, compatibility, and the FAQs every Aozoom buyer asks before ordering.
Why Upgrading Both Headlamp and Fog Makes Sense Together
Product 1 — Aozoom AZ1506 Black Edition Headlamp Bulbs
The "Black Edition" designation in Aozoom's range specifically means one thing: engineered for stronger road penetration rather than raw lumen count. While standard LED bulbs focus on maximum flood brightness right in front of the car, the AZ1506 uses a concentrated hotspot matrix — a tighter focal point design that pushes light density further down the road. At 5500LM per bulb and 150W total, it delivers both. The matte black aerospace aluminium housing and dual copper heat-pipe cooling separate it from cheaper units that overheat and throttle output on extended drives.

The AZ1505 (₹7,399) is Aozoom's previous-generation 150W bulb. The AZ1506 Black Edition adds the concentrated hotspot matrix — a revised chip placement that increases centre beam density for better long-road penetration — plus the matte black aerospace chassis for better thermal performance. If you drive regularly on unlit highways or rural roads, the AZ1506 is worth the ₹1,600 price difference for the improved distance visibility. For pure city driving, the AZ1505 remains an excellent choice.
Product 2 — Aozoom FLP-4090 Dual Laser Fog Projector
Most factory fog lights are an afterthought — a halogen bulb in a plastic housing that adds maybe 30 metres of visibility at 55W. The FLP-4090 is a 3-inch dual-laser projector with three distinct beam modes (lo, hi, and hi+laser), a sharp projector cut-off that prevents glare, and a blue lens that enhances colour contrast. Compatible with 110+ car models and including Suzuki and Toyota specific brackets — it is designed to install without fabrication on the vast majority of Indian cars.
If you drive in Haryana, Punjab, UP, Delhi in November–February fog — or in heavy monsoon rain — choose White-Yellow. The 3000K yellow lo-beam mode is genuinely different from white in fog — less back-scatter means you see the road surface clearly instead of a wall of reflected white light. If your driving is mostly clear-weather highways and cities, White is the cleaner choice and matches the AZ1506 headlamp colour more closely.

How AZ1506 + FLP-4090 Work Together
Before: Factory halogen headlamps (~700LM each, 3200K yellow-white, 30–40m effective range). Factory halogen fog (~500LM, scattered reflector beam, no actual fog penetration). Total: approximately 1,900 lumens of useful light from all four bulbs.
After: AZ1506 headlamps at 5,500LM each, 6000K, hotspot penetration to 150m+. FLP-4090 fog at 7,600LM (lo) or 11,200LM (hi) + dual laser. Total: over 22,000 lumens of controlled, directed light. The difference is not subtle — it is the difference between seeing the road and seeing the road properly.

Installation — Both Products
- Select correct fitment before ordering — Check your car's owner manual or headlight housing for the bulb base code (H7, H11, 9005, 9006, etc.). Available in all common Indian car fitments. WhatsApp +91 97287 64403 if unsure.
- Remove factory bulb and insert AZ1506 — Twist and pull the factory halogen bulb from the headlight housing. The AZ1506 drops into the same socket and locks in the same way. Ensure the fan faces downward where possible for best airflow.
- Plug in and aim — Plug the AZ1506 into the factory wiring connector — same plug, no modification. Switch on, check beam pattern on a wall 5 metres away. Adjust headlight aim if needed using the headlight adjuster screw (standard on all Indian cars). Register warranty same day via WhatsApp.
- Remove factory fog lamp assembly — From under the bumper or behind wheel arch liner, locate and remove the factory fog lamp unit. Disconnect factory H11/H8 wiring connector from the back.
- Mount FLP-4090 using included brackets — Suzuki and Toyota brackets are included. For other cars, the universal mounting clamp fits standard round fog lamp positions. The 3-inch unit drops into the factory opening — no drilling needed on compatible vehicles (110+ models).
- Connect and align beam — Plug the FLP-4090 into the factory fog lamp connector. If your car uses lo/hi beam fog switching, the projector modes follow automatically. Set White or White-Yellow mode during first start. Adjust beam angle — low beam cut-off should sit below opposing traffic eye level.
AZ1506 bulb swap: 15–20 minutes per side for most Indian cars. FLP-4090 fog replacement: 30–45 minutes per side including alignment. Both are DIY-capable for mechanically confident owners. A local car electrician or accessories shop completes both in under 2 hours total if you prefer professional installation.
