iPH M6282 — 3 Colors from One Switch.
150W Laser Bi-LED Fog Projector.
White for highways, warm white for rain, golden yellow for fog — all switched without touching anything inside your car. The M6282 puts tri-color control at the tip of your fog light stalk.
Your Stock Fog Lights Are Working Against You
Factory fog lights in most Indian cars — halogen H8 or H11 bulbs sitting behind a plain reflector housing — push just 35W and scatter light in every direction. They illuminate road markings beside the car but do almost nothing for the 50–80 metres ahead where you actually need to see in fog, dust, or heavy rain.
The iPH M6282 replaces that entire assembly with a projector unit — a precision optical system that cuts a sharp, controlled beam exactly where headlight-height debris, mist layers, and water films sit. And because different conditions call for different colour temperatures, the M6282 gives you three: cold white for clear-night visibility, warm white for rain scatter reduction, and golden yellow for dense fog where short-wavelength blue light bounces straight back at you.
Three Colour Temperatures — One Projector
Each colour temperature on the M6282 is engineered for a different driving condition. Understanding the physics behind them helps you use the right mode at the right time.
Change Colour with the Fog Light Switch — That's It
The M6282 uses a sequential flash protocol built into the projector's control module. Every time you quickly switch your fog lights off and on, the unit moves to the next colour in the cycle. No phone app, no separate remote, no extra wiring into the cabin.
Start at 6000K Pure White
Default state every time you start the car. The projectors come on in pure white mode after each ignition cycle.
Quick Off–On for 4800K Warm White
Turn the fog switch off, then back on within 2 seconds. Projectors switch to warm white — ideal for rain or drizzle.
Off–On Again for 3000K Golden Yellow
Repeat the quick toggle. Projectors shift to golden yellow — the go-to for dense fog, dust storms, or heavy smog.
High Beam Activates the Mechanical Shutter
Flash your high-beam stalk and the solenoid-driven shutter opens, converting the projector to full high-beam throw — without any dedicated wiring.
Bi-LED Matrix + Dual Yellow Laser Modules
The M6282 is not a simple LED upgrade — it combines two distinct light sources inside one 85mm projector housing. The bi-LED matrix provides the main beam through the optical lens, while a pair of yellow laser modules add concentrated throw distance on top of it.
Bi-LED Matrix
Two LED dies — one for low beam, one for high beam — behind a single precision lens. Projector optics give you a sharp cutoff line and focused beam rather than raw flood light.
Dual Yellow Laser
Two yellow laser diodes inside the housing extend throw distance. Laser light degrades less with distance than conventional LEDs, keeping the far field bright.
Mechanical Shutter (Solenoid)
A physical solenoid flap separates low and high beam modes. When the shutter opens, the full LED matrix lights up for maximum throw. No "always-on high beam" gimmick here.
IP67 Alloy Housing
Fully sealed against water ingress at depth — not just splash-proof. The alloy body also acts as a heat sink, keeping LED junction temperature in check over long runs.
Dual Built-In CANbus Decoders
Modern ECU-managed cars expect a specific load on each fog light circuit. The M6282 has CANbus decoders built into the housing to prevent dashboard error lights and flicker.
3.0-Inch Clear Glass Lens
85mm optical glass (not polycarbonate) for zero yellowing over time and consistent light transmission across the full operating temperature range.

Fitting the M6282 — What to Expect
The M6282 is designed as a plug-and-play projector swap. If you've changed a headlight bulb before, fitting these is the next level up — removing the factory fog housing and bolting in the new projector. Here's the process:
On most cars, the factory fog light unit is accessed from under the front bumper. Remove the 2–3 bolts holding the fog housing, disconnect the H8/H11 plug, and slide the original unit out.
The M6282 comes with universal mounting brackets. Align the bracket to the factory mounting holes. Most cars fit straight on; some may need minor adjustments to the bracket angle.
Plug the supplied H8/H11 harness into your car's stock fog light connector. Connect the CANbus decoder between the harness and the projector — this prevents dashboard warnings and flicker on newer CAN-bus vehicles.
The solenoid shutter needs a signal from the high-beam circuit. Route the supplied wire to your high-beam line (usually accessible behind the headlight or at the fuse box). This step is optional if you only want fog light function.
Switch on the fog lights and run through all three colour modes. Then aim the projector beam: the cutoff line should sit just below the horizontal at 10 metres. Adjust the bracket tilt as needed.
Who Should Get the M6282?
Highway Commuters
6000K white mode gives maximum visibility on expressways and lit city roads where cold, bright light reveals obstacles earliest.
Monsoon Drivers
Switch to 4800K warm white in heavy rain — the neutral tone cuts reflection off the wet road surface compared to ice-cold white.
North India Fog Belt
If you drive through December–February fog in UP, Punjab, Haryana, or Delhi, the 3000K yellow mode is specifically what the M6282 was built for.
SUV & MUV Owners
Thar, Scorpio N, Fortuner, Innova, Safari — these factory fog positions accept 3-inch projectors with minimal bracket work.
Hatchback Upgrades
Swift, i20, Nexon, Venue — stock halogen fogs are the first thing that looks dated post-2021. The M6282 is a clean visual and functional upgrade.
Night Shift Drivers
Cab and delivery drivers who run long hours at night get a genuine safety benefit from the projector cutoff and selectable warmth over scattered halogens.
