Morel Kinetic Subwoofers —
KS84 · KS104 · KS124
8", 10" and 12" — same Israeli engineering, three sizes. Damped polymer cone, stitched high-excursion surround, tinsel leads woven into the spider. Pick the size that fits your boot and your music.
Three Sizes — One Series
Same driver construction across all three models. Choose by boot space and bass output requirement.
Morel's Kinetic subwoofer series is built on one engineering brief: put the same internal construction into 8", 10" and 12" formats and let the installer pick the size that fits. The result is three drivers that sound like siblings — same damped polymer cone material, same stitched high-excursion surround design, same approach to tinsel lead wire routing — with power handling and bass extension scaling linearly from KS84 to KS124.
All three are sold at ₹8,499 (tax included), available at Car Concepts Shop, Naraingarh with same-day dispatch and pan-India delivery in 3–5 days.

Kinetic Series Construction — All Models
Resists cone breakup at high excursion — moves as a rigid piston instead of flexing, keeping distortion controlled even at loud levels across all three sizes.
Mechanically bonded surround for long-term durability. The high-excursion geometry allows large cone travel without surround compression or non-linearity at bass frequencies.
Lead wires woven into the primary suspension move with the cone — no free-floating wire to rattle or fatigue-fracture. The most common failure mode in cheap subs, eliminated by design.
A 2-inch coil on an 8" driver is unusually large — more gap coverage, better heat dissipation, more consistent motor control at high excursion. Morel doesn't scale the coil down with the cone.
Morel manufactures their own components. The engineering principles behind the Elate Carbon and Ultimo series are applied here — scaled to a real-world price point without outsourcing the core driver design.
All three models work in both sealed (tight, accurate) and ported (loud, punchy) enclosures. The 8" and 10" are more forgiving of enclosure volume tolerances; the 12" benefits most from a correctly tuned box.
KS84 vs KS104 vs KS124 — Choose Your Build
All three at the same price? Yes — all three Kinetic models are ₹8,499. The 12" is not a premium upgrade in cost, just in size and output. If your boot fits a 12" enclosure and you want the most bass, the KS124 is the obvious pick. If space is tight or you're building a DSP system where accuracy matters more than raw output, the KS84 or KS104 will serve you better.
Common Questions
Not necessarily. The KS124 requires a larger enclosure volume than the KS84 or KS104 to perform correctly. Stuff a 12" into a box sized for a 10" and it will sound worse than the smaller driver in the right box. Buy the size that matches the enclosure you can actually build or install. If your boot allows a proper 12" box — go KS124. If space is constrained, KS84 or KS104 in a correctly sized sealed enclosure will sound better than a 12" in a cramped box.
KS84 (250W RMS): 200–250W monoblock or a 4-channel amp bridged at ~240W @ 4Ω. KS104 (300W RMS): 250–300W monoblock or 4-channel bridged. KS124 (350W RMS): 300–400W monoblock or 4-channel amp bridged at 350W+ @ 4Ω. For all three, a dedicated DSP amplifier (Nakamichi FDSK530A PRO or NDSK4285AU) with a monoblock for the sub channel gives the best tonal result — the DSP handles crossover and time alignment.
Bandpass enclosures are more complex to tune correctly and less common in street builds. Morel recommends sealed or ported. Sealed for tight daily use, ported for high-output bass music builds. Bandpass is technically possible but not recommended without proper Thiele-Small parameter data and simulation software — contact us if you want to go that route.
The Kinetic series is designed for street/daily use — it is a well-constructed daily driver sub, not a competition SPL driver. For SPL competition you would want a driver with a higher Xmax, higher power handling (1000W+ RMS), and dual voice coil options. The KS84/104/124 will handle 250–350W RMS continuously for daily listening without issue, but it is not the right spec for SPL competition builds.
