A: No. Thanks to its high 91.5 dB sensitivity, the RCX-165 runs efficiently directly off your car’s factory radio or an aftermarket touchscreen head unit. However, pairing them with an external amplifier will unlock even deeper mid-bass and cleaner volume levels.

Q: Are these coaxial or component speakers?

A: These are 2-way coaxial speakers. The inverted dome tweeter is mounted directly on top of the 6.5" woofer driver, making them a quick and easy drop-in upgrade without needing external crossover boxes or separate tweeter mounts.
