The 605CSQ upgrades from a standard polypropylene cone to a stiffer carbon fiber cone, uses a stronger Y40 ferrite magnet, handles slightly higher RMS power (95W RMS vs. 70W RMS), and digs lower in bass response (48 Hz vs 55 Hz).
Q: What does the tweeter adjustment switch on the crossover do?
A: The crossover features a 0dB / +3dB toggle switch. If your tweeters are mounted low in the door or behind thick factory grilles, setting it to +3dB boosts high frequencies so they cut through clean. If the tweeters are mounted high on your A-pillars pointing right at your ears, leaving it at 0dB gives you a neutral, balanced tone.
Q: Will these speakers run fine off a standard factory radio?
